  • Compose an ad for Newsday and other real estate related publications
  • Assist and schedule the hosting of an "Open House"
  • Advise seller of progress

  • Check  new and current listings as well as recent sales in the area
  • Touch base with all the agents who have shown the home for comments and feedback
  • Continue to show your home weekly to Sales Team at every meeting until House is sold
  • Advise the seller on the agent feedback

Step 5

If your home is not actively being shown, some changes may  be necessary to expedite the sale

  • Review Advertising methods
  • Review availability of home to be shown
  • Call all agents and prospects again

Step 6

  • Verify qualifications of the potential purchaser
  • Represent the seller in negotiating price and terms of all offers
  • Assist in the processing of the mortgage when the offer becomes an accepted binder. Contact the attorneys for the preparation of a contract.
  • Follow up with mortgage lenders and attorneys frequently to make sure the process is going smoothly and advise seller of progress
  • Attend the closing
